The Shepherd 220 (220A, DL220) combines fingerprint ID with a keypad system. The product allows regular users to have theirs fingerprints programmed.  For the short-term visitors, individual pass-codes could be given to them to be punched in for temporary access.  Afterwards, their individual codes can be deleted.  There are no mechanical keys to be distributed lost or duplicated.  It is self-contained and directly interchangeable with most standard cylindrical locksets.
